Themes

Mode ? Select how the themes are ranked: current month average, rising momentum over the last 14 days, or strongest over the last X months.

X months (for “Top last X months”) ? Only used when mode = “Top themes last X months”. The lookback window becomes: [as_of - X months … as_of]. Larger = more stable, slower-changing themes.

window_days ? The rolling window size (in trading days) used by your theme engine to compute features (e.g., returns window). Larger window smooths noise; smaller reacts faster.

corr_lookback ? How many days of returns are used to compute correlation between stocks for clustering. Larger = more stable correlations; smaller = more sensitive to recent changes.

corr_threshold ? Minimum correlation required for stocks to be grouped into the same theme (cluster). Higher threshold = tighter, fewer themes; lower = broader, more themes.

min_members ? Minimum number of stocks required for a theme to be shown. Higher = only larger clusters; lower = allows smaller, niche clusters.

limit ? How many theme rows to display (top N). Bigger limit shows more themes and increases the universe size for microtheme analysis.

As-of?Date of the latest occurrence chosen for this theme_id within your selected window.	Theme?Theme label generated by your engine for the cluster (may be an auto label).	Industry?Dominant industry among members in the latest occurrence.	Sector?Dominant sector among members in the latest occurrence.	Members?Number of member stocks in the latest occurrence.	Last Score?Score for the latest occurrence within the chosen window.	Avg Score?Average score across your selected time window.	Score Change?Last Score - First Score within the window. Positive indicates strengthening vs start.	First Seen?Earliest as_of_date for this theme_id in your window.	Last Seen?Latest as_of_date for this theme_id in your window. Min stocks per microtheme ? Minimum number of symbols required for a microtheme to be included. Increase this to reduce noise and focus on bigger clusters.

Max microthemes ? Upper limit of microthemes returned after filtering. Lower = only the strongest few.

Strictness ? Controls how selective the final list is. Inclusive finds more ideas; strict keeps only high-conviction themes (and filters generic names more aggressively).

Max symbols sent (cost control) ? Caps how many symbols are sent to OpenAI. Lower reduces token cost; higher improves coverage. The server prioritizes higher-ranked occurrences and stronger members first.

Force refresh (ignore cache) ? If unchecked, repeated clicks with the same filters may return a cached response (faster/cheaper). Check this to force a new OpenAI call.

⏳ analyzing... ? The server is collecting the universe and calling OpenAI. The time depends on universe size and model latency.

What do count / coverage / conf mean? ? These are microtheme-level diagnostics to help you trust what you’re seeing.

count?Number of symbols that belong to this microtheme (after validation and filtering).

coverage?Percent of the symbols sent to OpenAI that this microtheme explains. Example: 10/90 = 11.11%.

conf?Model confidence score (0–1) for how well the symbols fit the microtheme, then filtered further by your strictness threshold.
